was started almost twenty years ago, and I have owned it for over ten years. We exhibit at many conferences, mostly
Mental Health, especially Play Therapy, and Educational, plus we receive orders by mail, fax, and phone from our catalog .

Our Business Philosophy
The objective of our business is to provide a high quality product and reliable service for our customers. This is also
our way of participating in the effort to make this a better world. It would be terrific if everyone would learn expert
Parenting and Social Skills so that we no longer need as many Social Workers, Police, Judges, Jails, Prisons, and Homeless
Shelters. When we all learn how to treat each other better life will be more exciting and fulfilling. We hope you will

Our Business
Our business operates out of our home in the country. There is a small office where everything started, an even
smaller warehouse, and a mail room. Friends help out when needed and adult children have made a huge contribution in the past.
We would love to move into a larger warehouse with a showroom where our customers can see and touch our products. To hire
the staff to make this happen would be a dream come true. It is our expectation that this web site will make that happen. Thank

Our History
Connie Callahan started Ther-A-Play Products some 20 years ago to help other Therapists, like herself, find
products that were appropriate for Play Therapy and especially Sand Play. The market has changed considerably since then,
and thanks to many books and movies, there are more and more products that are acceptable for this modality. However,
it is still a challenge to get many of the items needed for Play Therapy.
Let me introduce myself. I am Madge Geiszler and I started working for Connie in 1992. She had other interests
that she wished to pursue, so I purchased Ther-A-Play Products in September, 1993. I am not trained as a Therapist,
but the time I spent with Connie gave me an understanding of the items many Therapists are looking for. Actually, I
have found that every Therapist needs something different, depending upon the clients they are working with. I also still
have problems locating products, and then having the purchasing power and facilities to provide the best assortment. It
has been a challenge, with many ups and downs, but I really enjoy working with all of the wonderful people I have
met on this journey, and it is so much fun shopping for you. I hope you will support my effort to make these products
available to you on the internet and look forward to this new experience.
